Eyeshadow palette and kohl: one look for day, one for night
An easy way to use an eyeshadow palette with kohl, eyeliner, lashes and brows, for a soft day look or a striking evening look.
Eyes catch attention first. With one palette and kohl you can switch between a calm work look and a bold evening look.
Before you start
Dab a little concealer or foundation on the lid and set it with a touch of powder, so shadows stay put and show their true colour.
Day look in five minutes
- A light nude shade all over the lid.
- A slightly deeper shade in the crease, blended in small circles.
- A thin line of kohl or eyeliner close to the lashes.
Evening look
- Start with the day steps.
- Add a dark shade on the outer corner and blend it upwards.
- A shimmer shade in the centre of the lid.
- Liquid eyeliner with a small wing, and kohl on the waterline for depth.
- 3D false lashes for a dramatic finish.
Kohl or eyeliner?
A kohl pencil is soft and easy to smudge, perfect for a smoky eye. Liquid eyeliner gives a sharp, precise line, and colour gel eyeliner adds a different touch of colour.
Brows finish the look
Fill gaps with a brow gel or pencil close to your hair colour, then brush them upwards.
